Invention patent

The MovilVap system was patent on exp. nº AR038542B1.

MovilVap System

Soil desinfection

The continuous and intensive productions in greenhouse requiere of the treatment and or the desinfection of the soils, to avoid the contamination of the plants and the competition with overgrowths.

Although the vapor of water as stererilizer is commonly used in certain activities of the process of production of flowers and vegetables, tha practicity lack in its application incline to the producers to the use of the Methyl Bromide. However, before the inminent disappearance of this product, big commercial signatures are trying to optimize the application of the vapor of water.

The MovilVap System

MovilVap is an implement thought to facilitate the task of the producer through a continuous, economical, efficient process, and non pollutant.

The MovilVap vapor injector gives producers the chance of eliminating fungus, bacteria and weeds from sowing beds in a shorter period of time and at a lower cost.

The implement is pushed by a winch propelled by an electric engine equipped with a speed varying device. The speed traction is 0,6 meter/ minute.

The working pressure is 2 kg/cm2, with a temperature of 122ºC. The lowest temperature reached in the sowing bed is 75ºC (pasteurization temperature), which is uniform up to 20 cm depth.

In order to get an optimal performance the soil must be chisel ploughed both in depth (25 cm) and on surface. The moisture must be lower than 50% of the field capacity on clay soil i.e. fairly dry.

Pressure gauge and thermo-meter.

The distributing comb

The comb distribution in the implement and the gap between the diffusers guarantee a uniform warming of the soil.
